Flu vaccines are arriving! We have received a portion of our privately funded flu vaccines. We will be scheduling appointments for our patients with private insurance in the flu clinic times listed below. Call our office for an appointment. We are still awaiting the arrival of our state funded flu vaccines. Once those arrive, we will open up scheduling to our Medicaid and self-pay patients. We will not supply FluMist this year, only injectable flu vaccines are available at our practice.

What is the difference in state funded vaccines and privately funded vaccines? There isn’t a difference in the actual vaccines, they are the same. For patients with Medicaid and no insurance, flu vaccines are purchased by the state for to us to administer. For patients with private insurance, flu vaccines are purchased by our practice for us to administer. The state will not allow us to borrow or swap flu vaccines based on insurance. Our vaccine shipment dates are unknown, but we currently haven’t been notified of any significant delays this year. We will post any updates on our Facebook page and website.
